If you're going cheap, best to stick to wine from Chile and Argentina. Much better than stuff from here or the US for the same price.

Chilean wines offer some great value in terms of quality vs price

The thing is they don't understand is we don't give a rats ass about them.

Edmonton sign McLelland for normal money , everyone here says nice signing, will be good for the club. Mclelland is a to 10 coach in the league same as Babcock.

We hear about the signing for a day we walk away and say congrats. They also signed a president and a GM. Again job well done.

Yesterday Boston hires a GM , a few questions about the hiring and one hour later , everything back to normal.

St Louis also hire long time NJD vet as an assistant GM, it gets back page coverage for an hour.

One of the worst teams in the leagues hire a top 10 coach and the centre of the universe summons together all the Gods and take over the country and airwaves an tells us how this is the most important news of the decade. This coach will perform bigger miracles than Jesus. He will take this team from the dregs of the world to the promise land.

They spend stupid money like those two stupid women in the Verizon commercial and just don't understand we don't care. Keep it Toronto news not global news.

Yes I am drinking cheap wine now

Land and labour is so cheap there and they have some pretty established vines, much older than anything around here. If I've only got ten bucks in my pocket, I'm probably giving it to Chile.

Chile is great value. Just had some PKNT Carmenere and it was halfway decent for the money. Their vines are super old in some regions and I think Australia has vines dating back to the 1850's. Not totally sure but if memory serves, didn't Australia and Chile help repopulate alot of the European areas that got wiped out by the bug that killed a whack of the Euro vines?

I'm not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised. Genetically they are all the same grapes. Australia makes some damn good reds. They really surprised me at the last wine festival.

Lack is going nowhere unless it is a huge offer
- VANTEL

He will I have to agree with Nucker on this one. Markstrom has proved he is capable in the NHL and Lack has proved his is a capable #1. He will be the one moved. I like him but something has to get us a decent return and he is it.

Im a bit of a sucker for yellow tail. Its Australian, but decent for the price.

If Im really trying to get cheap and enjoy, I'll hit up copper moon shiraz from time to time.

Its not that bad really.
