He's worth qualifying and signing to a one year deal to give him one last chance.
- Nucker101

Yes I agree but he may not be interested. He might need Europe for a few and try again here.

Please have him work with WD this summer then.

Hockey Central guys talking about AV getting outcoached. Always thought that was just canuck fans whining. If they see it then I guess it has to be true.

I think Jensen had/has more potential than most of the guys selected around him, but his stock fell due to an inconsistent effort. That is clearly on display.
- golfingsince

It's Funny Ray Ferraro who is kind of a part time Hockey Analyst for the Canucks, and he watches a majority of the comets games so he can discuss them when he is on TSN radio.

He does not like Jensen. He thinks that Jensen has no idea what to do when he doesn't have the puck, and also says he incredibly inconsistent in his effort through out the game.

He really likes Shinkaruk though.

Ferraro and Friedman are probably the only 2 hockey analysts I enjoy listening to.

Cause Ray Ferraro & Shinkaruk are 5-9ish?

He's 21 ? Maybe as he matures he'll bring a better approach. I would keep him as you never know what kind of player he'll be by the age of 25.
- golfingsince

In four years how many more players surpass him on the depth chart? What about players picked up through UFA signings and trades?

If Jensen can not crack the NHL roster this coming season he's done as a canuck. Book it.

Ferraro has been there. Guy scored 25 goals or higher in a season 7 times and had a solid career as an all-star a couple times.

Kypreos and PJ Stock maybe have 25 goals combined in their entire careers and were usually healthy scratches for a majority of their careers.

I'll never forget when Kyper got KO'd. It was a scary incident. Ended his career.

Saying that, can't stand the guy as a hockey analyst.

The guy relates everything to 1994 when he won the Stanley Cup with the Rangers.

He acts like he was critical to that cup run ONLY PLAYING 2 GAMES in the playoffs.

"Well back when I won the stanley cup with the rangers in 94......"

I'll second this. They are both well spoken, know their poope, and don't come off as WWE announcers. They are basically the anti Jeff O'Neil and PJ Stock.

CanucksArmy also came up with a "draft the highest PPG player ranked in the top 30 available" for each pick and the Canucks woukd have ended up with these players since 2000:

Justin Williams
Jason Pominville
Kyle Wellwood
Matt Stajan
Max Talbot
Josh Gorges
Mike Richards
Dave Bolland
Claude Giroux
Tyler Ennis
Brendan Gallagher

Obviously you'll end up with barely any d-men and zero goalies with this strategy but it should at least be used for all forward selections. Hmmm Henrik, Giroux, Richards and Bolland down the middle....but I was told PPG is a stupid way to draft

- Nucker101

Canucks DID have Kyle Wellwood before. He was part of the Canucks in 08' to 10'
