Don't undervalue Pysyk. And don't over value Rychel. There's a reason why he's being made available prior to his first full NHL season.

Sabres acquired Deslaurier from the Kings, not Carrier. Carrier was acquired from the blues.

I'm trying to make it a fair trade for both sides, one where each team would say they gave up too much.

He's not being made available because he stinks. He is being made available because the Jackets have a ton of quality forwards and need D help.

I too think a lot of Pysyk and I would not trade him unless it's part of a package for a top scoring winger coming back.

I believe more in Drouin then Rychel to be that kind of player.

Yeah, I agree with you on this one. Eberle is established and a proven commodity. Pysyk isn't. While I like Pysyk a lot and I think he has a bright future in the NHL, he needs to put some games on his NHL odometer before he would even be in the discussions for a Jordan Eberle.

I hesitate to say it because of how well it's worked for us in the past but you might even be able to address it in free agency.
