No problem I'm just sick of the Canes giving up on players only to see them go elsewhere and see their careers reignited... Ladd, Vrbata, Seidinberg come to mind and I see the same thing happening with Semin.

Semin is in his early thirties now and the guys you've mentioned were much younger when you guys gave up on them. He doesn't have much room for improvement IMO. But that's me.

Are there any Semin type players on the Hawks or Ducks? No. I want nothing to do with an old, unmotivated, incredibly overpaid player of Semin's ilk on this team. I'll keep Hodgson rather than trade for that floater.

I would have wanted Semin on the Sabres about four years ago, now, not so much.

Semin needs to be as far away from the Sabres as possible.

If we are going to take on a big money long term contract then we should go for Kessel. I don't like his contract but he can score and would fill a spot we are slim on. I have a feeling he stays with the Leafs after hiring Babcock. I would give our other 2nd we have ++.
