It still amazes me when teams take players such as...Andrei Loktionov for example. Good solid player on the right team. Why he was ever drafted by the Kings is beyond me. Did not fit their style at all. Maybe someone saw something at some point. Who knows.


you could argue the same for undersized picks like kozun, weal, etc. perhaps at some point DL recognizes that if you find undervalued skill players past the first round, you find a way to mix it in.

given the dearth of offensive output for long stretches in the reg season for the past few years, maybe its not a bad idea to throw an undersized fast and skilled guy on the bottom 6 to stir up some trouble and throw in a different look than just the same plodders we're accustomed to.
