Not an option. Who would you rather have at their current salary/term

Moulson, come towards the end of both of their contracts Moulson should still be able to score 15-20 (on a team that was not the 2014-2015 Sabres)

Callahan might not be able to move with the style he plays.

You absolutely need a guy like Callahan to win the Cup. I am just not sure if you pay him $6 million a year.

I agree. Given their ages and things its close but Moulson IMO is the guy that will still be healthy when finishing out his contract

I think you'd have to go Moulson because you know that on a decent team he could pop in 20 - 25 after he starts to break down as he doesn't rely on athleticism to score today. I used to love Callahan but we all saw this breakdown coming (except the Bolts, apparently).

He definitely plays a tougher style game than Moulson, but they did both play the same amount of games this year (77).

Moulson has 3 less points in his career in 73 less games.

Only person I would be interested in offer sheeting would be Saad. 6 years 36 mil.

Not sure they can take on a 5+ mil cap increase with him.

I think LA would easily match Toffoli, and maybe even Jones with Quick getting older.

I am totally on board with this move! He is worth EVERY penny, I do not see him as a player of the "Chicago System" , does he benefit? Of course, but just look at the decline in HOSSA for an example of a player on that team that just doesn't have it anymore but he still plays with great players! SAAD is a BEAST! 7Million 6yrs Heavy Up Front!

Back to back 60 point seasons.

Has 11 points in 15 gp during the current playoffs.

I'm not sure what you've been watching but Hossa is still a very good player at age 36

Yes, yes we have.

Though, if you really want the guy, that's what the offer sheet is going to have to be in order to get Chicago to walk away.

Nobody's considering the plethora of draft picks you would have to give up to get him either.

Not to mention he's up against the other teams top line all the time and gets a lot of PK and PP time.

I can see him putting up good numbers for the next 3 years.

Only thing I can see as forcing an earlier down fall is the long playoff runs he's had over the last 8 years.

He's still playing at a very high level.

He's played 18+ mins in 11 of 15 games.

He has a couple of 30+ min games in there too.

I don't see a decline.
