It's unoriginal and it's a bunch of spare parts with little value for someone who has accrued a lot of value.

teams will play up the nose for a player like him for a playoff run they can just throw him on the ice kill penalties etc and not worry about him taking dumb penalties he's a player you can trust in all situations

Cam Ward is terrible. There's no reason to trade Cody unless you get something useful in return. Bringing in negative value like some poopbird goalie or some loaf who never tries hurts us more than just keeping him.
