I find it hard to believe they have been this bad with the fire power they posess.

It's not their core, it's because Pittsburg blew their wad on both Crosby and Malkin and let Jordan Staal go for almost nothing. They should have traded Malkin for a king's ransom before they decided to resign him and kept Staal, they could have surrounded Crosby with a good enough cast that they'd have won more than 1 Cup.

Kids got a HEAVY stride.

Curious to see what he can do with a full off-season. I wonder what his weight and body type will be at the start of camp.

Arguably Malkin is just as capable of being the guy. He has shown it time and time again.

Pitts management needs to learn to go all in. They should have done Poullliot ++ for Kesler. Took their cup or to and gut their system. Wait a couple yrs and make another run

Yes, the problem is he WANTS to be the guy, and never will on Pittsburg, if I were Pittsburg and I were smart (and Nashville would go for it) I'd trade Malkin for Weber straight up.

I don't think that deal helps Pittsburgh. They need help up front badly if they lose Malkin.
I say Malkin to the jackets for Jenner, anisimov +

They could also look towards the Oilers. McDavid Malkin Draisitl would be very deep.

Malkin for RNH Yak and 16 th back

That is legitimately scary. Fck, I'd feel much better if MacT was still running things.

Edit:

It would also be hilarious. Malkin gets away from Crosby and stuck behind the next Crosby.

The kid is just a prospect. He could turn out to be Alexandre Daigle.

Malkin does not scare me one bit if he's in an Oilers uni.
