Garrison is a very average d-man...we got rid of an NTC. vey is young and may still pan out (50/50 at best). Everyone knows you hate Sbisa with a passion but unless he slept with your GF perhaps we can move onto a new topic. - CanuckDon
Getting rid of NTC's for worse players at almost the same cost is pretty stupid, but applauding and praising it is literally retarded.
Congrats, you won tard Tuesday! |

Plus Ellis, Jones & Ekholm - A_SteamingLombardi
Exactly. Rangers may have better depth but the Preds aren't exactly weak depth-wise so give me the team with the better top pairing as the tiebreaker. Josi and Weber can dominate a game. |

Did I applaud and praise that trade? Nope, incorrect. I just don't miss garrison. I was ok with a second round pick but Vey hasn't panned out the way most thought he would. And what do you mean they are the same cost? 90% of your posts are about how bad Sbisa is..you should move on |

I know it's Tuesday and all but do yourself a favour a learn to read between the lines a bit. I'm not saying Franson is the answer but 'could' be an option for the right price. There are always intangibles involved when it comes to stats...you do know what intangibles means right? - LordHumungous

Garrison would have been fine to keep if you got rid of two others like Edler Hamhuis Bieksa or Tanev.
You need to have puck movers , stay at home D , Tough guys.
You had 4 guys all playing the safe type D . Again our softness and results showed it over and over , that it didn't work.
You need guys like Rome and Torres to stir poop and attack. You can't just play your whole game defending with positional hockey.
You need to have a mix of players that play well together, but can handle any type of team.
Rome stunk in regular season but sure stood out in the playoffs |

If I were the Blues manager I'd try and trade for Malkin. They have the assets. |

Listening to Mark Crawford this morning on 1040, he thinks Markstrom is the one to stay and Lack will be moved as Lack is going to command BIG'ish dollars after next season. |

I thought he said one of Miller or Lack would be moved? Lack's next contract will see him having a raise and you can't run with that much money tied up in the goalie position.
Common sense, still don't understand the ntc with Miller Didn't get any deal on the dollar value either. Don't want to say Nucker is right, but. |

I think his clause is "limited", not exactly sure though? - LeftCoaster
I think you are right.
Ideally, I think if we could get Lack signed for 4ish, then we should try to see if we can move Miller.
I am not sure if a Lack/Markstrom tandem is smart, but then again, Miller/Markstrom could be just as bad if Markstrom struggles as a backup.
Just want to see some assets/picks coming back in a trade. |

Exactly and thank god that Tuesday is over...I was half expecting Booner to show up and let us all know what rookies we should send down before the 9 games next season...bet we're just waiting on baited breath for that sheer genius!

Lack isn't that good, he's a backup goalie imo. If teams value him as a starter, best to trade him now and get the most for him. |
