I have a soft spot for Nash, I don't know why, just love watching him play when he's on his game.
With guys like Kreider, Zuccarello, Fast, Miller coming up I wonder what it would take to pry him away - sbroads24

Same as Gibson, you're buying into the potential that he will be great (showed it during the regular season).
He's also only 20 years old. - Sabresfan-365
I am not sure why a team would move a young promising goaltender on an entry-level or 2nd RFA contract - when they could be signed cheap and groomed into a starter role. Every team needs a backup, and, for example, Vasilevsky is an ideal, cheap asset for the Lightning, who face no pressure to decide who to keep next season.
It's a situation where we'd have to make an offer they couldn't refuse, and I don't think 'tending, which right or not is basically the running back of the NHL in terms of asset management, would be a smart place to do so. |

Agreed. The best series of the entire playoffs this year is going to be the WCF. It was the same way last year too. |

I agree. It's why I think we end up with Lehner. They now have 3 guys under contract and only room for 2 of them. |

Seems Murray has been in contact with them in regards to one of them as well. I don't believe it was said which one specifically, but my guess based on Murray's previous comments is that it would be Lehner. |

Or Anderson, though that's be risky for Ottawa, and the price would be higher. |

Anderson doesn't fit based on Murray's comments though. He's looking for a younger guy and one that's BIG. Lehner fits into both of those criteria. |

And I bet all of those are at home. They posted his home stats vs his away stats last night for the series and it was crazy. 4 goals against on the road, 15 at home. |

Question for the Canadians on here: I'm contemplating a trip to St. John's NF in October.
Can anybody tell me why a flight from Toronto to St. John's is 2 and a half hours, but the return flight from St. John's to Toronto is 4 hours? |

i really wouldn't mind taking a chance on Lehner if he is had for cheap.. he was supposed to be good and has shown glimpses.. a change of scenery and a new set of goaltending coach eyes might help him get over the hump. But if not it was worth a shot and we didn't give much up.
Say no to hammond and i think anderson is too old for TM |
