I have been because I'm not sure which days I'm actually going to do this. Both WestJet and Air Canada do the same thing.

Although, looking at Flightaware, the flight duration has been about 2 and a half hours to St. John's, which is spot on:

I try not to take anything that some random person posts on the internet too much to heart. There were typos and stuff in it, which right off the bat makes it far less credible, IMO. It's not journalism, it's merely a blog of someone complaining about his perception of an athlete. Nothing more, nothing less.

It's a bunch of Mike (frank)ing Harrington's up there telling WPG that Kane quit on his team because he needed surgery (that's real btw). It's obnoxious propaganda.

It just seems like a smear campaign launched against him, during and after his tenure as a Jet.

We didn't give half the amount of poop to Derek Roy as he probably deserved, and he's a bigger Richard than Kane ever was. AND he didn't give a poop!

Rounding back to your original point, I don't know why I care. Probably because he's a Sabre now, but mostly because I don't like seeing people take poop for something they don't deserve.

Dreger was on WGR this morning and said Bylsma was going to be in Buffalo. He also said he felt that the job in Buffalo was the best of the bunch when you factor in getting to work with a guy like Eichel and with how stable the ownership situation is.

I am not sure why a team would move a young promising goaltender on an entry-level or 2nd RFA contract - when they could be signed cheap and groomed into a starter role. Every team needs a backup, and, for example, Vasilevsky is an ideal, cheap asset for the Lightning, who face no pressure to decide who to keep next season.

It's a situation where we'd have to make an offer they couldn't refuse, and I don't think 'tending, which right or not is basically the running back of the NHL in terms of asset management, would be a smart place to do so.

But let me ask you this.

When he took over in Pittsburgh what was his main goal? To win the Stanley Cup. He took over a team ready to win it all and they did just that. Once they won it, they were expected to compete for it every year. Since his bottom 6 depth wasn't very good and a lot of his youth was traded away he had to play his veterans (which 2 of them are Super Stars in this league). So again you can say he is a youth killer, which he may be, but I am not going to judge that by his time in Pittsburgh because his focus was competing for a Cup with a team that lacked true depth.
