He just turned 62 and this is his 4th.

40 removed bone cyst eating the joint
41 removed titanium plate and pin do to allergic to it
56 fix torn labral (AKA snapping hip syndrome. I'm next up for this one.)
62 total hip replacement

I'm hoping for a post xmas surgery.

My mom need hiatal hernia surgery 1st.

Try dealing with that at 31...the skating motion of a hockey player does awful things to hips...I am dealing with the same thing Ville Leino dealt with the only difference is I push through the pain.

Sounds terrible. Thankfully I don't have any nagging injuries really. Did a number on my ankle about 6 years ago and get some pain in the top of my foot ever since from time to time, but it's more than manageable.

The sabres management is being pretty tight lipped about things now. They don't wanna look like fools losing out on two coaches whether they want him or not. So besides them asking permission to talk to him I don't think anyone truly knows anymore than that. It's smart and I was very surprised on how much was getting out on babcock while they were pursuing him.
