I don't think he put all of those statements together. He said if he deals #21 it's to move up or for a young, under 24 yr old player. Also that some teams are going to be cash strapped and there could be deals to be made there. I think it's a reach to interpret all of that as offer sheets for RFA's but that's just my opinion.

He never mentioned an offer sheet, but I wouldn't doubt he would consider it.

Personally, I don't think it's the time to do it either, but I would love Saad on this team. He's fast, good defensively and can score goals.

I am good with Blysma coming on board. Regardless of what anybody says, you can't erase his name from the Stanley Cup.

All of the potential candidates have their warts. Let's get this done so that the organization can focus its efforts on the draft, trades, offer sheets, developing players etc.

He really makes you feel like he's being honest with you. And I believe that he is, as much as he can be of course.

What are you referring to as being the truth?

Did you listen to Craig Rivet on WGR today, loves Bogosian and what he can bring to the Sabres. Said, ahem, hmmm, well listen to the last hour of hockey hotline or whatever they call that cruddy show. I don't want to pick at old scabs.

One thing I'm sure Bylsma pitched to #sabres: acquire Jordan Staal, take some pressure off/provide mentorship to Eichel, Reinhart

As interesting as this is, I don't see Murray selling the pieces to acquire a guy like Staal. It'd be a cool pick up and I'd love him to be on this team.. but where does that leave Girgensons? How does that address our top 6?

Fun but impractical to me.

Yeah, it will take minutes away from our young developing centers and good question does it put Girgensons on the wing where he didn't play as strong as center? Plus would cost a lot. We need wingers.

By what was told to me today, Murray said he wants to keep things quite regarding a head coach but it's turned into more then just coaching search, he wants what his plans are kept quite
