They can't officially sign the deal until then but they could discuss it. I am sure they would ask for permission to speak with him and his agent. It's all doable.

Even to give up a ton for a 1 year rental on a team thta might just trade him again at the deadline if we suck next year.... I really don't want to give up too much for him.

They badly need defense.

i could see us giving up #21 and Pysyk or McCabe. Ruhwedel would be my preference but they'd want a bigger fish. I wouldn't want to give up any forwards like bailey or Baptiste for sure.

Me thinking Gringo is here next season. Won't hurt the team.

Hes getting knocked down because he couldn't handle the NHL game and that's why he went back to juniors.

When you have to bump up your weight to compete with men, it doesn't happen all at once and players usually have to adjust when they add muscle.

Not saying he isn't a great prospect in a few years, just not a 50 point guy next season.

Don't disagree but judgement right now when one guy played 10 regular season games, the other a few regular season games plus playoffs, and another the full season just seems wayy too early for comments or analysis IMO

If we were actually serious about it..... I would just foam at the mouth for almost any of these guys.

Toffoli could be most realistic with their cap issues there. If I remember right we were trying to get him hard in the McNabb trade but got Fashing instead.
