So the 3rd in '16 is either the Canucks or Isles pick. I'm good with that. Now it's time to build the roster for next season.

G- trade for Gibson and sign Ramo.

D- with Bylsma I would expect them to go after Paul Martin now.

F- I would think the Jordan Staal rumors heat up over the summer but I don't see that. I would expect them to try to sign Michal Frolik or Justin Williams.

I would love to see Bylsma get Hynes as an asst coach and if not get Luke Richardson. Granato will probably be the other asst.

I see 5 new players in the lineup in October.

You have to overpay enough where team won't match it. lA will figure a way to find money before they let toffoli go for a " bargain" offer sheet. That's the point. We will have to overpay to get one. Yes, but there's nobody that's a higher priority than Saad. They'll sign him and worry about ramifications later. They did it after 2010, and ended up winning another cup in 3 years. There's no reason to think they won't try it again.

In 2010 they basically could have iced two competitive teams. They decided to let Versteeg, Campbell, Ladd,Brouwer and Byfuglien go over the next 2 seasons

Vermette, roszival, Richards, Timmonen all off the books this year. That's like 11 million right there that they will have free. Ya they will suffer some depth but they can give guys like teriveinan bigger roles. Plus they could dump Crawford off for free to a team that needs a goalie and roll with raanta like they did years ago like niemi. Edmonton would take him for future considerations. Plus they could trade sharp to a team ready to win now (Florida, Columbus, islanders) for a 3rd line cheap player and save even more. They will find a way and sign saad.
