Please do. There is nothing better than hearing about someone's past mistakes.
- The Don

The point is when someone makes mistakes that are incomprehensible and were at the time... And this is consistent over years .... Where is the learning exactly????? But it's cool .... I'll enjoy reading this blog in the future when your making the same point ...

Jay McKee said he was going to call Bylsma to talk about a coaching job on WGR.

I'd be completely on board with that.

Funny, but we did not hear a single mistake Babcock made in his loss to the Pens in the Finals, or his losing record in the playoffs since '09. Canadianliberalmediascratcheranko bias?
- LandlordTom

Maybe not from the media but there was certainly talk about it on here. As usual, it was only from fans of teams who were not trying to hire him. A particular fan of the Predators especially comes to mind when it comes to negative comments about Babcock.

they'll take their time and try to get it right

And I'd loveto see Irbe be part of the coaching staff.

Don't know if he's qualified, but if he is, dandy. I wonder if he's any better than what Nolan poop out on his bench, besides Irbe.

If he is sitting Eichel or Reinhart in favor of Matt "Frickin" Ellis I'll be sure to admit that I'm wrong.

In the meantime, I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt that he is able to learn from his mistakes.

Also, when there is a coach available who has never made a single mistake or questionable decision in his career that becomes available be sure to let me know. I'll jump on that bandwagon with you. Especially if he has also won a Stanley Cup.

murray said that he'd like to have the staff in place by the draft, but also said that he won't fill the positions just to meet a deadline that really doesn't exist...

they'll take their time and try to get it right

- Michael Pachla

Makes sense. That's kind of what I figured, but I missed the press conference so figured I'd ask if it was mentioned at all.

He could also get a position in Rochester, which I would also be on board with.
I just hope wherever he lands, he teaches his players to wash their shin pads in bleach once in a while.

He was on the coaching staff in Erie last year. He spent a season as an assistant in Rochester a few years back as well.

Won't happen, because being a part of Bylsma's coaching staff you don't learn from past mistakes.

Or it could just be a "kids being kids" type of picture. Seriously, it doesn't concern me in any way. You've never done anything weird or stupid in your lifetime?

Just got this rumor....from a great source....The Maple Leafs have STRONG interest in Teemu Pulkkinen (e4) who tore up the AHL this past year for Grand Rapids...more on this as it develops..

So does this mean he's going to Buffalo?

yeah, knew about his prior experience. I just figured he needed more AHL time before he shot right up here. Meh, who knows. We'll see, can't hate an ex Sabre getting back there. His PK prowess was fantastic.
