I am hoping for Tampa. I am fine with whoever wins it.
I don't wish success on Kesler though, but hey, whatever. The Canucks aren't there so, no strong feelings. - hillbillydeluxe
Yup I think the final 4 turned out very well, its been 2 really good series and I'd be happy for 3 of the 4 to win it in the end...(I just want Kesler to wait a year or two before I stop caring about him winning )
Actually it's easy...the league is run like a business, so any good business would like the top two populations/viewer ships in their showcase event so that means Ducks (California) vs Rags (good ole New York City).
Edit: I want Tampa to win, at least I've been there, but no one outside of Tampa and a few die hards will watch - they won't get in, no ratings.
See 2011 when they lost in game 7 to the Bruins - they didn't see a single power play...coincidence, hope so.

I want Kesler to wait a bit too. I think he will mellow/mature a bit with age, and not be such a knob.
As per Popcanbong, with all this FIFA stuff going on, I don't believe there is ever a level playing field. Corruption is everywhere. Half the time, I think it is exposed when someone paid their bribes and don't feel they got their money's worth and decide to pursue the legal route.
World Cups go to some crazy spots and they go the legal route. Olympics are a joke. Football is a joke. Officiating in NBA and NHL is a joke. Baseball with the steroids is a joke- they had to know the players were juiced but needed to get the fans back and looked the other way.
Corruption is everywhere. They don't care to hide it as much in the third world, but I think it is just as prevalent in the western world, just hid better.

Going home early from work on Friday for a movie?? Even Uwe Boll would be worth it

agreed...but every so often a team wins despite what the league(s) want, see the Blue Jays in 93 and 94 - they won despite the umping and upside down flags and Ted Turner...that's what keeps me watching, that hope that the nucks can win despite all the poop is what keeps me watching. And beer, beer also helps a lot.

agreed gluttons for punishment, but the beer helps.
I hope it's the Lightning over the Rangers for sure! Marty suck my balls St. Louis & Rick Nash can go (frank) themselves. Glen Sather too!!
As for the other series, lots of BC boys, well ok a couple, on Chicago...but then again I'd like to see Bruce Boudreau succeed as I think he's a good coach. Plus I like the way Anaheim has built their team through the draft. This ones a toss-up??

It's well done. Tarantino took much risk with his films in the early 90's as graphic reality films weren't really widely accepted yet. The Samuel Jackson dialogue alone is worth the price of admission. I hope Travolta gives Tarantino royalty cheques for that film as that movie singlehandedly saved Travolta's dead career. If you 'get' Tarantino at all you'll enjoy the film.
If you do end up liking Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown is another very well done Tarantino flick.
