It's well done. Tarantino took much risk with his films in the early 90's as graphic reality films weren't really widely accepted yet. The Samuel Jackson dialogue alone is worth the price of admission. I hope Travolta gives Tarantino royalty cheques for that film as that movie singlehandedly saved Travolta's dead career. If you 'get' Tarantino at all you'll enjoy the film.
If you do end up liking Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown is another very well done Tarantino flick. - LordHumungous
You literally almost word for word said the exact same thing to me she said yesterday.
Im actually laughing. And yes, I get Tarentino and will for sure check out Jackie Brown.
I hope it's the Lightning over the Rangers for sure! Marty suck my balls St. Louis & Rick Nash can go (frank) themselves. Glen Sather too!!
As for the other series, lots of BC boys, well ok a couple, on Chicago...but then again I'd like to see Bruce Boudreau succeed as I think he's a good coach. Plus I like the way Anaheim has built their team through the draft. This ones a toss-up?? - LeftCoaster
What use to be a strong dislike is now a strong respect for the Hawks.

Pulp Fiction is good, Reservoir Dogs is better, just for the opening conversation of what Madonna was singing about in "Like A Virgin" and all about tipping. Steve Buscemi was incredible in that movie.

It helps they no longer have Boland, Eager, Byfuglien's butt in Luongo's crease and Ladd one-punching Kesler to the ice... and lastly how seemingly easy it seemed for Sharp & Kane to score on Luongo at will.

The thing that pissed me off was Hawks showed us the formula to win but Canucks never adapted.

Agreed. Reservoir Dogs was more edgy/grittier and had phenomenal dialogue (not that Pulp Fiction didn't but just on a different level). And yah, Buscemi was fantastic

He was great as Mr. Pink...
Mystery Train (1989) for young Buscemi fans.. the more times you watch it, the funnier it gets IMO.

I loved the whole dialogue about who is going to be what colours lol.
And of course the quintessential 'shocker' scene was brilliant - having Stuck in the Middle with You playing in the background while the psychopath Michael Madson character has his way with the cop.
Very violent but also quite darkly comedic. Great film and I feel it ranks right up there as the best of Tarantino.
And lastly, I agree that this was the saving grace film for Travolta - his career was pretty much dead until his brilliant role in Pulp Fiction. As someone said, he should be sending some of his royalty cheques to Tarantino for completely resurrecting his career.
I'd like Garrison to win a cup. I can't cheer for the Rags. I'm a fan of Stamkos and some of the young guys on that team as well. Hedman is good. - moondawg
I was rooting for Tampa till last game. If a euro carried on in that game like Stamkos did, fans would cut him up.
Stamkos, you are nothing but a gutless weasel. I hope you get dropped like the sack of garbage you are tonight

How come those feckers can't be more like the Sedins.
