On the Nucks thread yesterday I offered 31 for Eddie Lack. Most of the posters there were in favor, some wanted 31 and 51 though. Some wanted our 1st for Lack. I even offered Foligno and 51. Benning wants additional picks to get back in the 2nd/3rd rounds.

Would you do 31 for Lack? Add to it?

Better, but dont worry ROR isnt going anywhere. He belongs in Colorado long term. He has the ideal situation there. Rid shotgun on Dutchs Wing or Center an explosive talent in MacKinnon.

From what was said when the season ended by both parties, it seems pretty optimistic that he wants to resign there

One poster offered Lack and Hansen for 21 and 51. I wouldn't do that but wouldn't have a problem with 31 for Lack. Goalie trades are tricky. Lack would be our #1 here and I think he has enormous upside. I think Murray trades 21 to move up.

Only way they trade ROR is if someone really over pays for him in a trade. Its all getting sorted out this summer according to Sakic. He wants to extend ROR as soon as possible and have him be apart of the long term core but he wont let this drag into next season and be a distraction like it was in Stastny.

My guess is he gets Stastnys deal. 6years at 6.6m

I could see you guys trying to go after Beleskey, I think you have the cap space to burn a bit on him as he is going to get grossly overpaid. Still a good player but UFA will over inflate his actual worth

I think Benning really wants Miller to be their #1, and Markstrom the back up. That puts Lack in trade mode imo.

If we add Frolik and Oduya, and use 21 and 31 to possibly move up for a nice winger available (Konecny) I will consider this an excellent offseason

Frolik would be a good add, but Belsekey is the right age, 26 years old. Still could get a bit better, but at least if you do a 4 year deal with a guy like that, his play wont decline bc of age.

Justin Williams is 34? I think his best days are behind him.
