Global Warming officially over

It's official — Global Warming — otherwise known as Climate Change, is over. The war against melting ice, temperature rises, and all associated ills has been won.

According to a report by Dr. Benny Peiser, a Global Warming expert, "...the poles are 'much more stable' than climate scientists once predicted and could even be thicker than previously thought."

Ted Maksym, an oceanographer at the famous Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, located in Massachusetts, sent an underwater robot under the ice in Antarctica to measure the ice. These measurements tossed 20 years of predictions into the trash heap.

They found that the Antarctic ice is actually much thicker than previously thought and the Antarctic ice is actually growing in size. He said, "The Antarctic is actually growing and all the evidence in the last few months suggest many assumptions about the poles was wrong. Global sea ice is at a record high, another key indicator that something is working in the opposite direction of what was predicted."

Satellite data has also shown that the ice at the North Pole, the Arctic Sea, "is also holding up against climate change better than expected." In fact, the European Space Agency CryoSat-2 satellite shows that the Arctic sea ice volumes in 2014 are much higher than set over the last five years. They are sharply higher than the two low years of 2011 and 2012.

Dr. Peiser believes the threat of Global Warming has been "over-stated" by most climate scientists. He says, "Most people think the poles are melting ... they're not. This is a huge inconvenience that reality is now catching up with climate alarmists, who were predicting that the poles would be melting fairly soon." He further states, "We do not know what the climate will be in 10, 20 years."

These new facts throws into doubt the gloomy predictions that the Polar Bear is doomed to extinction. In fact, as I have reported myself for many years now, the Polar Bear population is actually growing in spite of all "scientific" reports to the contrary. I have stated that since the hunting of Polar Bears has been banned, its population has been on a definite increase.

A report from NPR (National Public Radio) seems to back my thought up. A young writer, Zac Unger, decided to write a story about the Polar Bears. He thought if he did that, he could draw people's attention to their plight. He moved his whole family up to northern Canada to Churchill, Manitoba to study the facts firsthand. What he found changed his thoughts about the great bears' plight.

From the interview with Unger on NPR's, "All Things Considered": Zac Unger stated, "My humble plan was to become a hero of the environmental movement. I was going up to the Canadian Arctic; I was going to write this mournful elegy for the Polar Bears, at which point I'd be hailed as the next coming of John Muir, and borne aloft on the shoulders of my environmental compatriots."

There was a problem, though. He found that the Polar Bears weren't dying. In fact, there were so many of them that they were becoming a dangerous problem for the residents of Churchill. But, these residents found ways of coping with their annual Polar Bear invasion without killing them.

They scare them off with loud noises and rubber bullets. Seldom was a bear killed. Nuisance bears were captured, put in a large "jail", not fed, given only snow to drink, and when Hudson Bay froze over again, (it does every year) they are released to go back out on the ice and hunt for their natural foods.

So, the Arctic Ocean has plenty of ice cover; Antarctica is actually gaining ice, and the Polar Bear population is on the increase. As near as anyone can tell, there are more than 25,000 of them out there. Gee! I wonder what Al Gore thinks now? According to him, there should be no more ice up in the Arctic by now.

In spite of all his gloom and doom predictions about these subjects, they never came to fruition. I guess, as I have stated in the past, Mr. Gore and his Hollywood friends are not real scientists. Apparently, some of the "real" ones aren't either.
