Way, way, way too many people and pollution, and all those crazy beating to death stories lately don't help. A friend here spent 1 month there last year, he loved it. But he's a pro traveller and can flip a switch when dealing with crowds and stuff. As much as he says it's not that bad at all, he convinced me even more to never go there.
