used to be that way in arizona and indiana as well, we never changed our clocks, we were just in different time zones at different times of the year

so prime time tv shows would start at 7 half the year and 8 the other half of the year

if you were calling relatives on the east coast you had to pay attention to whether they were 2 hours ahead or 3

indiana caved in 2005 and joined in on dst

There's a decent sized campaign going on up here to pressure the governments to stop doing it. It's an absurd concept that does nothing for anyone.
