I dont think EJ is a bum just needs to release the ball quicker, But tyrod is the started on day 1. Nigel Bradham had an interview this morning and said TT is the clear standout.... Coaching staff has been saying now the players are saying it. The QB competition is all but over. - CoHo_to_B-Lo
I agree on EJ. He also needs more opportunities. Marone was so desperate to save the job he was going to quit anyways that he refused to play the kid. On the TT talk, we'll see when they start playing the games, but it is interesting though. |

all he has to do is turn around and hand the ball off about 75% of the time.. and not turn it over when he does attempt to pass it. |

Cam averages a full yard longer per completion. That's pretty big
124 total tds to 56 total turnovers is a good TD to turn over ratio too 2.2 to 1 compared to the 1.33 to 1 from EJ... - Stripes77

Fred Jackson said the Bills want LeSean McCoy "to get 300-plus carries next year."
The Bills aren't tip-toeing around their running back situation with fake claims about competition. Even the players know McCoy is going to be shouldering a large percentage of the load as a true feature back. As the Bills try to hide their ugly quarterback situation, Rex Ryan will be grounding-n-pounding Shady. Running backs coach Anthony Lynn has already said he wants to slash Jackson's snaps in half.

Go back to college then...Newton averaged 2 yards per completion longer and had 13 more rushing TD's in 24 less games than Manuel.
Sure Newton was more inclined to run but still. Newton's all around game is much better.
There is a big difference between the 2.
Could Manuel be average? Maybe
Can Newton be a HOF? Perhaps |

Newton has a better shot IMO of being a HOFer than Manuel being a serviceable playoff QB for the Bills. |

Surprised no one has mentioned bringing Sekara back as a free agent. Just putting that out there.
Anyone interested in trying to get Del Zotto? He's an RFA with Philly and they already have 8 dmen signed. He is still young and a former #20 overall pick. What do you think it would take and is it something you think Buffalo should look into? |

It is what it is. Picking up a starting quality QB involves these actions and only these actions:
Option 1) Trade your entire draft plus probably half the next year for a sure as poop QB like Luck. I sure as hell wouldn't do it for Jameis Winston or Mariota.
Option 2) Get lucky as (frank) drafting a QB with a mid first round pick or later.
Option 3) Draft 1,2 OA and hope it's a good year.
http://www.footballoutsid...nd-round-quarterback-data
You'll notice using the above link that it takes an incredible stroke of luck to find a great starter past the first couple picks. Otherwise, you're likely to hit on a bunch of Cassel caliber guys and that's if you're lucky.
Trading for someone like Aaron Rodgers requires the same amount of effort to trade for McEichel or Crosby etc in 2005. It just doesn't happen, or the Flyers do something ridiculous like trade for Lindros using every good piece on their team. Sure, the Bills can do that and set themselves back to 2008. But they won't
Alll this should illustrate is that you either need to bomb out to land 1st (or maybe 2nd) overall in a great QB year, trade a piss load of assets like the Skins did, or win on your scratch off lottery ticket.
Ideally I wish the Bills would unload a bevy of picks for a worthy QB or just pray next year they can manage to slide down to a Tannehill-esq guy.. drafted 9th OA a few years back and finally starting to come into his own.
Drafting these 4-7 round dbags has such a small chance of succeeding that it's just worth so much more to pick up a guy who will actually make your team better than gamble on some who might turn into Kyle Cassel. |

Nick Foles isn't a HOFer
I'd like to see Wilson on a team not named the Seahawks or see him carry a team first.
The only true one can't miss prospect is Luck. Lets face it we would all love him. |
