They are the same age(both '95) Horvat qaa very good for a competitive team. LD was pathetic for a pathetic team. While young and much time to develop, the difference right now in almost every aspect t of the game, is day and night

He is expendable now that you have eichel. Pittsburgh has shown that you don't want 2 #1 scoring centres on your team. Both likely making 8-10mil/season each. Trade him now while our offer is on the table. plus you have other good young centres for that #2 spot in the future.

Murray would probably pass on Hansen and Bonino. It's hard to say on Zads but it could cost Lack +. Not sure what the + would be, maybe a prospect.

That is certainly a fair point. But my view on it is a 1-2 center combo of Eichel and Reinhart is pretty sweet. They both will get PP time. Lots of options. Throw in Girgensons as the 3C, looks good. Grigorenko will be the odd man out.

BUt then you will be in a worse situation than pitts is in now. and no guarantee of a cup before your there. trading reinhart gives you what you need to be a competitor for a long time. as early as 2 seasons from now. possibly next if eichel is a difference maker immediately.
