hey hey hey I got an idea. Since Eddie is a UFA next summer, we trade him this season for a second round pick and then next season we can trade Miller and sign Eddie back. How does that sound? |

Once a player moves on, they move on.
Once in a while a player may return to their former club, but I believe that is the exception more than the norm.
If Eddie is traded, I see him as being heart broken.
But you never know. |

Isn't there some kind of league rule that prohibits that? (that is has to be at least two years? or am I getting mixed up here) |

I don't think so. Buffalo traded Moulson at the TDL and he resigned with them that summer. |

Need for the playoffs to conclude and I guess it will pick up a little more then and explode around draft time and then again with the start of free agency.
We all have our ideas of what could, should and will happen in regards to player movement. Although more discussion is obviously required. |

Are the Canucks screwed until the Sedin;s retire? (Which I do not see until they are both past the 1000 point total and by the time Dank is there, Hank may be coming up on Matts to be the all time Scoring Champ for Swedish players so they may stick around a little longer.)
Now I love Hank and Dank but they have evolved into "Legacy Players"... untouchable, unmovable.
But now they must take 2nd line minutes or else we will never get into gear and stumble for first round loss to missing the playoffs to first round loss...
So we must create a new top line.
The only way I see this happening is the unthinkable... moving Lack.
Secondly, our D is in need of an upgrade unless juice was injured all year, he aged quickly. |

Thanks, although perhaps the rule is with respect to trades only (and not signing UFA's). Namely, that you can't trade back an asset you traded that same year? Does anyone know the actual rulling? |

Our D sucks , we are trading our only decent goalie, and our core is older than Moses. Good times |
