I heard Ehrhoff had interest in coming back to Van not by Eklund. Wonder is he was just running with that or if their is actually some truth to it...... |

Are the Canucks screwed until the Sedin;s retire? (Which I do not see until they are both past the 1000 point total and by the time Dank is there, Hank may be coming up on Matts to be the all time Scoring Champ for Swedish players so they may stick around a little longer.)
Now I love Hank and Dank but they have evolved into "Legacy Players"... untouchable, unmovable.
But now they must take 2nd line minutes or else we will never get into gear and stumble for first round loss to missing the playoffs to first round loss...
So we must create a new top line.
The only way I see this happening is the unthinkable... moving Lack.
Secondly, our D is in need of an upgrade unless juice was injured all year, he aged quickly. - Beatle_john
For arguments sake,
Aren't the Sedins still producing top line points? It isn't their fault the org has dropped the ball on drafting and ensuring there are players ready to take over the top line.
On a more serious note, some eye candy.

Jim Nabors wanna be.
But I don't care how he looks or talks, lets see if it is a distraction to other gm's and if he is able to pull one over on a few of them. |

From this point on, I will be apprehensive of every link you post. He's not a bad looking woman, but the old man arms will give me nightmares.

He's a scout, good at identifying a player. Building a team is a different animal. JB, the scouting staff and WD need to figure out the "team" stuff. Two rookies in a crucial role. |

was that the news or sports1130 tweet that was posted the other day or do you have a different source or does your source have a different source?
If we moved an ntc for picks without retaining salary and signed the Hoff for a year or two at 4mil or less without an ntc, I think we would be slightly further ahead. And further ahead if we traded him before his contract expired. a la Vrbata. |

I think some of the writers must peruse these sites for ideas. Garrioch, or w/e his name is, doesn't come across as reliable.
Can't be sure if he heard it from a reliable source, on one of these sites or just looked at Ottawa's goalie situation and is looking at similar tenders, and what they might be worth to get the discussion going on Lehner or Hammond.
That damn goalie market. |

With the Rangers cap crunch, could an RFA be available?
Burrows (reunited with AV/replace MSL) - 1.5 million retained
Nick Bonino(1.9 cap hit/replace Stepan)
Jensen/Gaunce(for a team low on futures)
For
RFA Stepan

Kenins-????-Virtanen
I'm sure they would want a grade A prospect, but it wouldn't be worth it from our perspective.

Kusma with Markstrom Video, Lack is SO traded.
http://www.theprovince.co...llars/11100175/story.html - VanHockeyGuy
It is amusing that the video at the top of the page is from the media availability, just after the Canucks were eliminated and it sounds like Kuzma he expects Markstrom to be traded.
I guess it does look like Lack is gone and Markstrom will be the backup next season. JB wants picks. We want picks. Who ever gets us the best return. Markstrom better be ready. |

Markstrom isn't ready for the NHL and there will be growing pains. But the positive is that Markstrom in not another Luongo understudy. That in it's own is a bonus and a step in the right direction. |

When our d-core was actually good. He probably on the decline like the rest of them, Id rather see Subban, Corrado, or Clendening get the spot rather than spending X amount of dollars on an FA |
