By arguably, u mean u could count a dozen players? He was nothing short of pathetic in the first game vs Oshawa.. And was far from there best player in the final.

I just don't see the hype
I seen a few horvat for LD proposals on here a couple weeks ago. These 2 kids are the same age(both'95) one guy was a force for a competitive team at both ends of the rink. The other guy was a train wreck for a pathetic team.
I know theyre young, but right now ithe difference top to bottom in the 2 players is day and night

Then you're blind. Draisaitl would be a 3rd liner on any team last season other that Edmonton, Phoenix and Buffalo. The kid is a stud. I'm not saying I would trade for Horvat now but at the time of the draft I had him 1st overall.
