Why? Because McDavid could turn lots of guys into 20 goal guys? - Bieksa#3
McDavid will help and they actually have a coach that's got a clue of what he's doing. |

U mean the guy who showed up for one (frank)ing game at the men cup? I'd rather have Mwrkley. - Bieksa#3
Watched Draisaitl all season in the WHL games vs the Rebels here. That kid has it. Not his fault he ran into Cole Cassels our soon to be new shut down guy. |

Then you're blind. Draisaitl would be a 3rd liner on any team last season other that Edmonton, Phoenix and Buffalo. The kid is a stud. I'm not saying I would trade for Horvat now but at the time of the draft I had him 1st overall. - thundachunk
Over ekblad amazing.
Why would he be 3rd liner on any team? All I here is how great he is offensively. So he didn't need to work on that. And you certainly don't send a prospect back to Jr to learn defense. As Jr as very little defensive structure. |

To hawks Hamhuis and #35(edm)
To edm Seabrook and Lack
To van eberle - Bieksa#3
I think were are good. Not sure we can squeeze in another soft player...

Its not like McClellan teaches a 2 way game. Its much of the same. They need a gut like Randy Carlyle or PeteDebour |

You know there have been hundreds of player dominate Jr scoring and never amount to a hill of beans in the show. |

He looks pretty solid.... a poor mans Kopitar. Protects the puck really well and can dish it as well. Needs to work on his speed if he truly wants to be an impact player |

Just my opinion. But he appears to give up way to easy. Or pouts when he doesn't have enough room. Im not saying he skates like Federov but I didn't see any skating issues. |

He's a kid with high potential. You are taking to much of a hardline stance. If you put a quality player with a coach like Eakins. Its not a win win. The whole team sucked. I will take one from JB here. You don't put or keep young players who need development in a losing environment.
So are you telling me you wouldn't take Draisaitl straight up for Lack? |

I think it's more agility issues with him.... once he gets going he's fine.... just takes a while to get up to top speed. |

I certainly would. But I'd also take a high 2nd rounder. I'd give up #23 for LD. As I see him as a 3rd liner. And more often then not that's what u get at 23. But Edler and 23 or a few of the other proposals are here. Not a chance |

I don't make asinine proposals unless joking around. Elder and a 23 would be stupid. |

Fair enough.
when I watched him live every time he stepped on the ice he had impact. I was actually more impressed with Draisaitl in the WHL than Virtanen in terms of effort level. But it appears Virtanen may be coming around in Utica hopefully. |

I'm on board with this. Watching him play against PG on many occasions. He was by far the best player on the ice everytime. |

I'm not saying u made the proposal. I'm just saying I think a few around here get a bit carries away. |

While my hopes for Virtanen are t near as high as many around here. There is one thing about guys like Virtanen and Ritchie. Do to how gritty they are the are almost sure fire nglers. If the scoring doesn't develop then they can still be bottom 6 guys as big, fast and mean.
Like Sam Reinhardt. I don't think he'll be a first liner but he is a sure fire 6-9 guy because his hickey IQ and attention to detail combined with his skill level almost gaurentees it. |

What about the Bruins SJ Kings. They have all gone after our top players more than once. It is no secret , remove the Sedins they have nothing after that.
Canucks have been soft since Bertuzzi Cook and Jovo Cop on D have departed. They never replaced that fear factor. Everyone knows when they play the Canucks there is no payback - VANTEL

It looks like Brady is gonna have to sit his entire 4 games by the way Goodall is talking. |

Gees that Petry deal sure makes the Tanev deal pretty sweet. I doubt you find a single gm who would take JP over Tanev.
And 33 mill the going rate for JP like d men, I'd imagine the market for Hamhuis and juice will be huge. |

I'm not a Pat's fan but this is really a BS non issue that Goodall is making a big deal out of. Half the league are criminals and they go after a star player like Brady over nothing. NFL justice is a joke. |

I'm of firm belief that if they would have come clean the punishment would have been far leas. To make natters worse, they basically said the whole thing was made up.
PEDs are 4 games for cheating. this is pretty much the same |
