yeah, im guessing they feel he may need to add some weight so a prolonged weight routine for him to bulk up a little might be better than just practicing with the team?
Would have loved to see him get some game time but I guess, "it is what it is" - anavar
I think, in one of the interviews, JB said he saw Hutton play in a game for Utica where his speed and skillset was evident, carried the puck up the ice and scored from the top of the circle or something. But Hutton needs to work on his conditioning.
hockeydb shows he played in 4 games with 1 goal. +1 and 2 pim. |

Cole Cassels sounds like a mature young guy, very good interview on TSN1040 |

Benning's latest interview sounded like he is trying to pump Markstrom's tires. I also doubt that he is waiting a couple of weeks before he makes his decision on what they are going to do.
He is waiting until the draft to see what the market will give him, until then he will pump up Markstrom's value and Miller's agent has already made statement about his health recently to do the same.
I have faith that Benning won't be so foolish as move his best goalie who happens to be relatively young, when the market won't give much for any of his assets. - belcherbd

I agree, very well spoken....kinda has the captain serious tone when speaking. |

Oh we are Miller is staying and so is Markstrom. - thundachunk
I will believe it when it is done.
I don't see trading your best goalie and most likeable Canuck , when your ticket sales are down , for a prospect that might make the NHL in four years from now.
Just don't see it at all |

I think Benning's decision to sign Miller was one from 1) his meetings with the core players 2) his past history with Miller 3) him coming in cold to a new franchise
In hindsight he probably wishes he hadn't signed him to a three year deal, but whaddo I know. - LeftCoaster
We are already in year 2 of 3... I don't mind. Miller is a serviceable goalie. He is better than most but not elite.

The goalie market is an enigma. We truly have no idea what will take place. I would be fine with who ever is in net as long as they win. |

Toews 3.0 for us.
Hodgson
Horvat
Cassels
it's a shame that none of those guys had(or will have) 54 points in 64 games during their rookie season though |

Lack definitely has the best rapport with media and fans. He has the right attitude and character to survive in VanCity's market. |

I think Benning was pumping Markstroms tires before he moves him
He also will re-sign Lack cheaper this way in the next few weeks. Markstrom and Kassian for Marincin and a second |

The team played really well in front of him the first 40 games of the year when Lack barely got a game, they had a great first half of the season...not lost on me. |

Mitch Burger brought up an excellent point today about the foolish superstition about not touching the cups for the East and West finals. He points out it doesn't make a difference one way or the other because every year one team will win and one team will lose, so there is no advantage. He said embrace the victory for the few days leading to the big prize. Then it was pointed out , the last person to touch the finals cup was Crosby and the went on to win the Stanley Cup that year |
