It's funny how two kids from the same parents can be so different. My oldest is tall'ish (5'10") like me and momma, but the younger one is only 5'6"??

I think today's food has a lot to do with it. Oldest was an eater, she was always hungry. But the younger one had/has a lot of allergies thus she was a picky eater. My theory anyways.

A guy I used to work with had a great come back. Another guy made a joke about banging his wife. Without blinding he said she has been a lot hornier lately. I guess a little hot dog once in a while makes a girl crave steak all the more

Our daughter Reese was 9lbs 4 oz. Both of us are on the small side. And no huge family members. So we were wondering where the size came from. At2 she still hasn't doubled her weight. She's 3 now and 27 lbs. Eats like a horse bit doesn't grow, lol

-my daughter was 6 weeks old. Yes 6 weeks. Mother in law got out her iPad. Obviously my daughter wasn't interested. Mother in law literally asked if she's stupid or something wrong with her
-on her 3rd birthday Reese was in the swing. (Like a regular one not baby seat type swing. And as we all know you have to be careful pushing a kid that small on it. Mother in law pushed her right off. Like air born, into a face plant. Face all blood how she didn't break anything..... My mother in law just shrugs and says she wants in that swing she better learn to hold on.
-when she was under a yr and started walking. I mother in law said don't be moving things they can put in their mouths. They have to learn, if they choke they choke.

And she wonders why she just gets ignored when asking to babysit.

I think Conacher has a chance to make that question tough to answer if his Calder Cup Final is as good as his third round was.

I don't think the Canucks intended to pick him up for anything more than AHL duty, but he has gotten better as the playoffs have gone on. I'm looking forward to the chance to actually watch the games during the final and form a more educated opinion.

Does his value somehow increase by association if the player he was traded out of Tampa Bay for, Ben Bishop, wins the Stanley Cup??

- Carol Schram

Thank you for the reply.

Always rooting for the little guy here.

When I first heard the Canucks acquired him, I immediately thought of the Bishop trade.

I guess Bishop's success can't hurt. I think something has to be said of him going undrafted, having played in the NHL and he is still hanging around.

So much of a player's success often depends who their line mates are and how they are deployed (team systems, roles). With his success, maybe the worst thing that can happen is the Canucks trade him alone or part of a deal and get something better back. Or maybe he can find himself in the lineup next season playing on the big club. Even having a career in the AHL can't be all that bad, doing something you love.

Cheers.
