-my daughter was 6 weeks old. Yes 6 weeks. Mother in law got out her iPad. Obviously my daughter wasn't interested. Mother in law literally asked if she's stupid or something wrong with her
-on her 3rd birthday Reese was in the swing. (Like a regular one not baby seat type swing. And as we all know you have to be careful pushing a kid that small on it. Mother in law pushed her right off. Like air born, into a face plant. Face all blood how she didn't break anything..... My mother in law just shrugs and says she wants in that swing she better learn to hold on.
-when she was under a yr and started walking. I mother in law said don't be moving things they can put in their mouths. They have to learn, if they choke they choke.
And she wonders why she just gets ignored when asking to babysit. - Bieksa#3

I don't smother the hamburger when I mix it in, I just put a bit of each in to keep it moist and give it flavor.
Sometimes I just do the eggs onions oatmeal and BBQ sauce, but you've gotta watch them like a hawk so you don't overcook them. I hate well done !! - LeftCoaster
Try replacing the oatmeal with Panko. |

I know. One of these many incidents take place, then you think after 6 months or so, maybe we are to hard on her......then another one happens....and again....
The nurse asked if I was staying every night that we are in here. And we said probably, basically as long as a 3 yr old seems to getting along fine and not getting home sick. So she said if he doesn't stay a given night, maybe your mother could stay with you. My wife just looked at her and said I'd rather stay alone if them are my options |

My mom and dad are great. Sometimes growing up you don't realize it.
My wife calls my dad "cat nip for kids". There's 9 grandchildren and they are all, all over him. Papa, papa papa.
And my father in law is great. Just he'd rather have a small visit with the kids and then be on his way. You know, they're your kids do what you want, because I'm done raising kids |

I just seen on Jeopardy that if you commit adultery in Michigan you can serve 4 years in prison. No wonder Kesler doesn't want to play for the Wings
No place like home |

Reese is over 3. And she's never ever babysat her - Bieksa#3
Dude... My mom is a raging narcissist. In my daughters 6 years I think my mom has spent maybe 30 minutes with her.
My daughter will say... Grandma... Watch what I learned it Ballet...
Then my mom interrupts her... Oh yeah... I used to be in Ballet... Let me show you a few things.
People are just phreaking weird. Oh well... It's their loss.
I hear ya though! |

My craziest experiences with mo-in-law pale.
Baby is running a high fever, wife and mo take him to hospital, nurse and wife are trying to take his clothes off to cool him down and give him a sponge bath... mo is trying to put the clothes right back on so he doesn't, I dunno, catch another fever or something... guess her heart was in the right place. |

I used to get something similar when my father in law was alive.
I'd be talking to my young son, toddler age, asking him stuff, seeing what he knows, father in law would start answering for him...
finally just told him, I know you know, trying to find out if my kid knows
my wife does something similar and I just say I want to hear it from him... sometimes we are just like our parents and don't realize it.
hey rugdnit, how old is your mom? mine is always calling to see how I am doing and then just wants to tell me what is up with her... which is okay, but I can't get a word in. |
