In a sense it isn't unlike the Kane trade. I'll trade a package of mid-level prospects for a top-line player every day of the week. We're one or two top-line wingers away from being ready to get it on.

Right, but it's fun to kick around. There have been reports that the lightning are less than enamored with him. They'd be foolish to move him but it isn't unheard of.

Thats probably why Edmonton wouldn't do it. They need more picks like a hole in the head. Similar to Buffalo, they need players they can ice yesterday. Teams to do the picks/prospects trading with are ones against the Celry cap with a bunch of older players.

Man. I'm really ready for this draft to be done with already. The hype train has run it's course and I cannot wait for October. Knowing that the roster won't be constructed to lose intentionally is more than good enough for me to be excited!

We were talking about Drouin in tampa. I honestly don't now what they would want in return. It could be high picks because they've just graduated several of their top-end prospects.
