Still that sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen
If I paid for my ticket I should be able to sell that ticket the way I want to unless its already written in their season ticket contract (which its not because he was doing it during the regular season) - Stripes77
If anything it greatly devalues the ticket. I got rid of my Bills seasons for a similar reason. If you sell them and the people go there and act like drunken bumholes, you get banned for life unless you sell it through their official exchange. |

That's the risk the seller takes. But to tell someone they can't do something they have already been doing (and allowed to do) and having to back track afterwards makes them look even more foolish. |

Sure it does. But it's these teams trying to keep ownership of the tickets after they've "sold" the tickets. They want it both ways. |

Which they can have if they spell it out in the season ticket manual. But they didn't so to tell him he can't now is wrong and I am pretty sure illegal. |

My guess is that you will see that going forward. |

Maybe for playoffs but they won't for the regular season. They would lose a lot of season ticket holders if they did that. |

Or they strategically don't enforce the policy during the regular season. |

It's a contract. If you break the terms of the contract its a breach of contract, which is a part of the civil law code.
Tampa would lose in any lawsuit. |

Sounds like they want all the tickets to be sold through the Ticketmaster Exchange instead of Stubhub or some other "unauthorized" dealer. - buffalofan19
after presale, I had a next to impossible time getting tickets for the finals, and I live in the state
tickets went on sale at 1pm and was sold out for all 4 games by 110
not going to lie, I flipped them for game 2 on stub hub for double the price and sold them an a few hours]
kept game 5 for now |

Back to the Nash debate...
If you could move Moulson, 21 and a prospect for him I would do it.
Then I would offer sheet the frank out of Tarasenko its a pipe dream St. Louis doesn't match but if they don't you have a lineup that is ready to take the next steps if you centers develop.
Move Hodgson for a 3rd if you can
Nash Eichel Tarasenko
Kane Reinhart Ennis
Grigo Girgensons Gionta
Foligno Larrson Deslauriers
McCormick
That would be one scary top 6... |

We all know that Eichel has the physical tools to be great in this league. There's no point in arguing, promoting or dismissing it. It's the mental aspect of his game that I want to know is there. Will he have the ability to elevate his game when it really matters? It's what makes Toews and Kane so great. Very few players have it. I think McDavid has shown more of it thus far than Eichel has, but neither have played an NHL game. |

I'm on board with Nash. The only way you have a chance of landing Tarasenko in an offer sheet is if you draw up a contract in the "four firsts" range. Anything less than that, and you're merely doing St. Louis' work for them.

Would the 4 first range contract be out of the question though?
I keep thinking about it. I am leaning towards doing it... |

If this team was closer to a contender, I would do it. There are still a lot of question marks on this roster and in the pipeline. |

The holes would be on the blue line going forward. That's where Murray would have to prove his worth as a scout.
Eichel will be fine. Reinhart should be fine.
There is plenty of depth up front in the works:
Baptiste, Compher, Fasching, Bailey, Poesler, Hurley, etc
The blue line is where he would have to did his homework.
This is of course if he believes he has a good stable of prospects already. If not he doesn't do the offer sheet. |

That's not true. Private enterprise rules do not become law when put into writing. I've seen many ridiculous contracts have absurd clauses be rules unenforceable in court. |
