What's wrong with Ramo?

Jiri Hudler + Morgan klimchuck + Wotherspoon and this years first for Malkin? Or is he not a fit in a flames uniform? What would you give up for him?

You know you would have to included Monahan or Johnny Hockey in any deal if you want to close to getting Malkin. Pens wouldnt moving him for a bunch of parts and prospects.

Hes still one of the Top 10 players in the game, Jiri Hudler as the centerpiece won't get that done

Nothing is wrong with Ramo, I really hope they resign him and trade Hiller. Moving Ortio would be a mistake. At worst he's an NHL back up. He's the youngest of the 3. At best he's the best goalie we have. Gillies was awesome in college, but to annoint him the starter in 2 years without ever seeing him play a single pro game is pretty dangerous. Ideally, sign Ramo for 2-3 years, trade Hiller. Ortio starts as BU to Ramo and taking the starters job by seasons end. Gillies starts in the AHL and tears it up. I just feel moving a young goalie that has shown, in small sizes mind you, that he can play in the NHL and do very well would be a terrible idea. JMO.

I'm still not convinced that Ortio is or will ever be better than Ramo. I really have no idea what Ortio's value is but since they also have Gilles coming up, I'd like to see them trade Ortio for a high end prospect if they're able and resign Ramo.

I'm not convinced Ortio will ever be a starter either. He just doesn't seem to have the tools to do so. Although he can still be a perfectly capable BU and I don't think this is the time to trade him. At least wait and see what we have in Gillies and see how Ortio does in a full season in the NHL.

You have to beat least starting with the 2015 1st, 2015 2nd, Backlund, Russell & Klimchuk. & I think other teams could better that offer. Would love to get Malkin but too much & then where do you place Bennett or Monahan unless you gave one of them up & that would be nuts. Forget Malkin. We'll let Colorado go after him.
