Benning is somewhat handcuffed with the NTC's; so I think next summer is more important than this summer, just my opinion.

They have NMC they cant be sent anywhere. They can only be bought out. Canucks can put a NTC on waivers.

To me he doesn't need to pull rabbits, he just needs to re-coup a 2nd round pick, or two, and hopefully a 3rd. Continue to draft well and build towards the future. There are no quick fixes.
