He should have, but can't blame a guy for taking an obscene amount of money to go play for his home town, but the Blues are already starting to get hard on Stastny, thats whats happens when he is the highest paid forward and doesn't carry the offensive load

He still thinks hes a Top 6 Centre, with the Blues he can be, but now has to take that pressure. Avs he would be the third line C in 2 years and would have to accept that role and 3rd line C money. He went wit the Cash and Top 6 role

When that offer sheet happened, that was right after the lock out, a lot of RFAs held out waiting till the CBA to come into play and see what happens. I wouldnt say thats an unrationale move

Subban, Benn, ROR, Stepan. He didnt want to be forced to take the 2 year 5m bridge deal that the Avs were only offering. He wanted the Long term deal, both sides played hard ball and thats when the Flames offer sheet came into play.

Well, I tried.

I like ROR but I'd rather the Leafs draft their own ROR as part of the process. I wouldn't want to commit to ROR's big contract years at this point in time.
