I doubt this current management group wants to gimp our cap for another 6 years on Phaneuf. Taking on a bad contract is more realistic than retaining salary

I think the Phaneuf deal on Oilers cap will (frank) them when they need to resign their forwards like Mcjesus and Leon D when the time for them comes

He is here to make the Maple Leafs a perennial contender, not just a one hit wonder..Moves like I proposed earlier getting Draisaitl for the #4 pick (Hanifan) to Edmonton makes alot of sense for Both teams..We still have another Frst rounder and the rest of our pcks..A top 2 young centers like Draisaitl and Nylander would be awesome, with Connor Brown and Frederick Gauthier as the bottom twwo..

Don't know why people think we can get Huberdeau from Florida. The deal would be Gudbranson, 11th, maybe Trocheck and Boyes (dump) who we could flip for a pick come deadline for Kessel and Polak. That's more realistic in my option. Huberdeau, Gudbranson, and the 11th for Kessel isn't happening.
