You don't have to buy a thing I'm saying... you're likely already broke from all the games you may have paid to watch your team underachieve with all the #1 picks a team can dream about in recent history.

You realize in the last ten years the Sabres and oilers have finished last in the league 2 times each right? So your probably broke from all the games you paid for... And you make more money in Edmonton anyways

So if your 200 pounds 70% is 135 ish. I agree I would think the kids could do more. I wonder what the lowest was on this?

That's pretty sad. I figured they would be doing 225. That's a lot of weight, but not to the point they would be "bulking" up

70-80% of his body weight 16 times? That's really all these guys can do? I'm no way a gym rat but I keep fit and I've always thought that any guy should be able to bench his weight at least. I'm guessing their about 180lbs, so 80% of that 16 times seems rather pathetic IMO. I guess it's more about core strength though

You realize that 80% of your body weight is quite a bit. Unless you are a gym rat, there is no way that your natural muscle can do that. I've been going to the gym for a few months and the best I can do it 11-12 reps at about 54% of my own body mass. Did you notice that he also had the 4th most reps of all tested players? Even the best weightlifters would have trouble with this. The test is not just about how much weight they can move, but also about muscle fatigue. Sure, a lot of people could do that weight for a rep or 2, but try 16 in a row, muscles get tired.

To be completely honest, if you go to see "Expendables 4" and expect "Citizen Kane" you will be livid. Everyone knows exactly what they get in a "GARTH" blog, or at least every day is a new flavor. In the end, sports are at their root, ENTERTAINMENT, nothing more, nothing less. We often take our lives and our hobbies way too seriously.

Was it really a surprise that Jack would out-perform McDavid during the Combine? No, this is Jack's bread and butter. McDavid is a Freak and a Sensational Player, if the Oilers had a writer who enjoyed writing about his super natural ability on the ice, I'm sure many Oiler fans might enjoy it, as long as they go in knowing what to expect.

Life can be stagnant, Variety is the Spice, All bloggers being as good as Pach would make a very dull world. I love both these guys, just Like I love Playing Video Games/Writing Thesis's on Brain Activity.
