He was ahead by a wide margin compared to where Zads is now.
Better skater
Better offensive numbers
By 22 he was already getting Norris votes and at 20(coming off a not so good 2nd year) was traded straight up for 26 year old Brendan Shanahan that had 7 straight 20+ goal seasons with 2 of those being the 50 goal variety. - dadeadhead

Did you guys know that FIFA just produced a movie coincidentally at the same time as this whole scandal thing? It's called United Passions. It cost about 30 million dollars to make.
In the US, it's box office sales were $607. That's right, six hundred and seven dollars. In Phoenix, it's sales were a total of $9. Nine. Dollars. That means one person saw it.

I have a feeling TM will swing a trade for Craig Anderson, out of Ottawa.
His recent comments clearly opened the door to that idea of a veteran overseeing the grooming a young keeper.
I just hope that such a deal doesn't require #21 overall. That be the case, I'd just assume sign Nuiverth as a UFA, & keeping the pick. - SuperCat
I hope they don't give much up (maybe a 2nd rounder) for a goalie, watching Bishop play for TB, he is good, but not great and injured at that. They just play great D and limit the tough saves and with the D we are shaping, we can do that. So I would say a stop gap goalie could be almost whomever, but if he trades I hope it will be the goalie of the future, for many years. |

Having a capable goalie is all you need. Doesn't have to be a guy like Hasek. The team in front of the goalie is much more important. Build that right, and you have a shot. |

I agree. Quick (for LA) is the best goalie to win the last few years (he did win twice), but the other teams that won in the last 10 years don't have a goalie that "wow" you. Just capable at best. |

the shutout on the road in game 7 vs the rangers in the garden says otherwise
the shutout in game 7 vs the red wings says otherwise
he allows 1 goal in a must win game 6 vs the habs

He's had an interesting playoffs, that's for sure. Just when you think he's going to fall apart, he comes out and is unbeatable. It's very strange. He goes from looking very ordinary to spectacular. Not sure what the injury is that he has, but it's visibly bothering him right now. That said, he still played a hell of a game last night. |

they are so keeping it close to the vest with whatever is bothering bishop
I thought he was done after the first period, couldn't move to save his life
then he looks normal in period 2 and 3
I want whatever they are giving him, seems it works much better then that stuff my friend Henry has |

I would think it's some sort of lower body injury, but it's really hard to tell for sure. Either that or it's abdominal. It's causing him issues moving from side to side and then getting back up when he drops down. You could see all through the game he was struggling with it. Some times more than others. The difference in his movements from the start of each period to the end was really noticeable. |

I gotta give it to Tampa. I didn't think they'd be able to handle either team from the West. They're proving me wrong right now. |

i hope this is sarcasm... Lets trade away someone who is already 2 years into his progression for a 18 year old. |
