serious question for you sabres fans:
the guys in the nucks thread are offering bieksa + for eichel (and are totally serious about it). since bieksa is clearly close to eichel's value according to them, how much more do they need to add?
i said they could offer up their whole team and it wouldnt be worth eichel, and they just called me a troll. thoughts? - sensnucksnocups
My serious reply is...
Why would u go on the Vancouver thread?
Unfortunately for them, they will prob continue to just make the playoffs & lose in the 1st or 2nd round
Unless they can trade the Sedins & start a major rebuild, they're kinda screwed
Possibles...
Florida? Arizona? Toronto? Philly? Jersey?
Idk, but they're in a tough spot
Too bad too
I love watching the Sedins play. They are the best passing duo I've ever seen. They really do some amazing stuff |

For them trading the twins would be like getting a new team. Major move for them. |

New page, new idea
3 way trade between Buffalo, Colorado and Toronto
Buffalo gets O'Reilly
Colorado gets Grigorenko
Toronto gets to play against O'Reilly

Still think trading Gringo will be a mistake. He was playing balls out the last few games of the season here. He will be on the top lines for a while till the new kids get used to NHL play. Will need some depth at center and can play wing . - cabin
Trading him now would be BC I don't think he has much value
He did just have an almost ppg season in Rochester, so he's clearly coming along
No reason to dump him now
Let's give him a year in the top9 with some decent linemates & see what he can do?
I remember him being compared to Malkin by scouts...
What better coach to have right now?
Not that I expect him to be Malkin overnight (or at all), but he certainly has tons of talent.
Now that he appears to have his head on straight, let's see what a real coach (sorry Ted & Ron) can do with that talent |

Double cooking wings really makes a difference, u just have to be careful not to overcook them |

Ya, I agree
But what options do they have?
If they just play out the string, they just aren't gonna be good enough around the twins to win the Cup unless Miller just has an amazing run
They really need to consider trading them now, while they can still get a lot back for them
Send them to philly for picks, prospects & a few bad contracts
They might be ballsy enough to do it
Heck, the Bruins need a shake up. Tough to see them playing "Bruin hockey" though |

We will need some depth for injuries too. If he ends up being a top 6 winger , why trade him ? |

But we have MFE to take over any injury that may occur, he could even coach or GM if they come down with Ebola or something |

I've never been a fan of highbrow chicken wings. I wouldn't say no to yours if you put them in front of me. But I like the simplicity of 10 minutes in the deep fryer, franks and a little cayenne pepper. Technically, its something no one should be able to screw up and should always taste excellent! |

I think down the road Girgensons at 3, Rinehart at 2 and Eichel at 1 would be a pretty impressive lineup of centers. you could even call Rinehart and Girgensons 2A and 2B or whatever depending on the matchup, or who is playing better that night.
Either way, im not complaining! - seedy
If Girgensons is on the ice then that means eichel or Reinhart aren't. I don't like that at all. Reinhart our #2 with girgensons on his wing. That's the shutdown/counter scoring line. Larsson can play 3rd line center. I want eichel and Reinhart playing the majority of the time. When you watch other teams superstars they seem to always be on the ice. Larsson is a good enough 3rd liner. Him foligno And baptiste can be a good pest line

They're delicious pretty much any way u do them
Do u like BBQ wings? Those are normally finished on the grill.
That's actually what first gave me the idea to do regular hot wings that way too |

Fresh wings marinated in franks on the top shelf of the grill. 30 minutes done and crispy. |

I'll be better able to have that discussion if he actually becomes a winger
So far, he's only played center
I'm not against him getting a chance on the wing though
Seems like a bit of a long shot to me though
And he kind of has that Vanek-like style that Murray seems to not be a big fan of
This will be an interesting year to see how a number of players & prospects play out |

If he starts scoring every other game , I don't care what position he plays . |

I'll definitely give that a shot. Med/Low-ish heat?
