Hall is a pretty complementary player too. Because he isn't a centre he hardly drives play or puts up points

From 2010 til now the Oilers have drafted:

10 Centres - 23%
16 Wingers - 37%
12 Defensemen - 28%
5 Goalies - 12%

Considering how easy it is to project wingers and the fact that a team needs to ice twice as many wingers as centres I think it's fair to say this is a balanced approach to drafting.
