Let me ask someone honestly, how the hell does a team take Kessel or Phanuef at their cap hits? I called it then - HORRIBLE deals. Kessel is about 0.75M over-payed and Phanuef atleast 1.5M.... they'll be lucky if teams want them without retaining salary. If Carolina offered me Semin + 5th pick for Kessel, Phanuef, I'd jump all over it

Side note Eichel is a physical freak and kicked Mcdavid butt in almost every combine event. He is the most NHL ready foward in draft. ( not saying he will have more points, just will be able to handle playing faster, bigger and stronger players in NHL then Mcdavid)

He's dominating on mostly his talent level and there's probably an extra gear for McDavid that doesn't exist for Eichel because McDavid hasn't even fully matured physically?

To be fair he was amazing vs the Rangers in 14. He just really sucked last season. Habs will probably wait and see with him.

But if you look at what Dubnyk did once he was with the Wild, you guys will need more than a goalie. That defense would make a pretty good goalie looks bad (and it looks like it did).

I'm hoping to see Tokarski stick as a starter. The Dubnyk fiasco is just frustrating. It's well known that we need a better D-lineup for a goaltender to make a difference.
