Bruiser and his "cousin" Da Crusher Lisowski!!!
- John Jaeckel

Was it the Bruiser or Crusher that they found dead of a heart attack in his California garage with the bar on his chest as he was doing bench presses only a few years ago?

Stole this from Jack on the Bolts thread :

Still very interesting that the Hawks have more SOG, more scoring chances, a higher CF% and FO% in this series and seemingly everyone agrees(including myself) that with the eye test the lightning have looked like the SLIGHTLY better team. Not sure what to make of it....i guess its just further proof at how close things have been. And now the ultimate test comes as the Hawks are known for playing their best games 5-7. Should be fun.

Trending for the Hawks even though to us it looks even so far .

The Hawks have been "bad" and still have won 2 games.

I bet they win the next two.

Cup is in the building on Monday boyyyys !

The 32 giveaways the last 2 games makes my eyes say the Hawks weren't the better team for most of the time. TB will concede the faceoffs as long as their young centers make life miserable for Hawk centers to score.

That said I think to win the series TB has to win tomorrow night...If not I don't think the Hawks will lose 2 in a row to them.

The Bruiser suffered a ruptured aorta while lifting weights.

I think the lines at practice today (even though we know Q loves the blender) are the best possible line combos.
Possession and legit scoring threats on all top 3 lines. 4th lin eof Shaw Freddy and Desi are not exactly slouches.

Saw a report tonight , Friedman maybe ? Bishop is likely to start .

You know, it's funny, my current protocol is what I outlined (with some minimal cardio: skating, a little running and sprinting and rowing) and I was wondering just this AM how I can work pull-ups in. Not enough time is the big problem.

Disjointed efforts have a lot to do with the low energy levels...And the transition game has suffered with the issues of not being able to get out of the defensive zone effectively. But TB hasn't really cashed in yet.

Have to think there is 5-2 game or something not close coming soon...Hawks offense could be ready to pop but the same could be said about TB.

I meant to mention this earlier:

Mike Reilly attended game three at the UC as a guest of the Blackhawks, but Minny is also trying very hard to sign him...Yzerman pitched him Tampa at the combine.

All he wants from the Blackhawks is to play next season and
sweater number 5...

Morning skate could help decide whether Bishop or Vasilevskiy starts Game 5 http://www.thehockeynews....asilevskiy-starts-game-5/

The series itself has been one of the most watched in the past decade and with good reason – when the games in this series have been flowing, they’ve been spectacular in that edge-of-your-seat, chewing-your-nails fashion. But, incredibly, through four games there are far more questions than there are answers.

If you ask me, this series is rather dull. Especially compared to last years finals. The thrill is gone.

Last night RED ARMY arrived in disk from NetFlix and my wife actually watched (rolling her eyes that it was yet another hour the videos I was "attached to' , my "first love")
and thought it was a nice forthright story of what happened.

My favorite part was when, at the very end, Fetisov, looks at the entire documentary interviewer, Gabe Polsky, and says, (you are) "...good california boy.." and Polsky without any hestitation, snaps back, "Chicago."

On the lighter side this evening just back from RUSH at the UC and their farewell tour so to speak...

Geddy mentioned in his opening comments - 'so I heard you're still playing hockey here this late in the summer that doesn't happen in my town...' of course Ged and the boys are from Toronto...

great show tonight...

The Blackhawks cannot promise him this. All spots must be earned not appointed. If a guarantee to make the club is what gets his name on a contract it's time to say good-bye.

This series has made me take a different look at advanced stats, of which the Hawks are winning the battle of and I am a believer in.

You have most every expert saying the Bolts have had the better of the play and more importantly a guy like Troy Murray, who would know, "questioning" this group. Few have said the Hawks have carried the play like the advanced stats do.
