I seriously hope someone offer Branden Saad an offer which would seriously screw Chicago and force them to trade some players.

Hawks may trade someone within 24 hrs of the playoffs ending, if they win maybe 48hrs. |

Sharp is gone guaranteed as he is playing terrible, and both of tampa's game winning goals have been indirectly because of him.
Every time Saad scores his salary is getting higher.
They way even trade a D-man in order to be able to afford a full Defense roster.

He was taking a break from us because of Miller. He feels we are all to divided on the Miller vs Lack/ Salaries/ term/ JB/ ect, ect. He needed a break from us. I don't blame him. I need a break from us once and a while too. He is right about one thing when it comes to Miller we are all divided on the subject. - thundachunk
Nucker is right about one thing, Sbisa is getting over paid. It's not the end of the world or going hamper our rebuild.
About Miller... it's hind sight. More people were talking bust with Markstrom than not at the time. Lack struggling late in the previous season. What ever...

If Markstrom takes Utica to a championship I would say that goes along way towards that. Especially considering he will be the playoff MVP. Win or lose he has been the best player in the playoffs. |

Agreed he has been excellent on the Comets , now he has to do the same on the Canucks. Mind you Comets do have a better D |

Not sure what the deal is, Nucker is absolutely right about his stance with respect to Miller and Sbisa - those deals STILL really irk me even though I've now had a fair chance to let things sink in (especially with respect to Miller). I just try not to mention it too many times but, yes, as you know, for the record I think those are two big mistakes by Benning and NOTHING can sugar coat it. If I see more moves like this, it is only reasonable I will have less and less confidence in his abilities. Please note, however, it's not like I don't think he can or want him to succeed, I'm just going by what the small sample size has given us. So, don't blame Nucker, blame Benning. |

This is where a lot of us are divided. Miller being the main issue. Sbisa we can all get along with but Miller I disagree. He's a proven Veteran goalie. Yes is is getting aged but imo its a 3 year contract 2years left on it. Sure it 6 mil whatever we aren't as handcuffed as you all believe. Its a short term deal used as transition. Not bad at all. I still take Miller every day over Lack. Even after solid finish before the playoffs. |

Here is why I think you are wrong.
JV has already proven he can play at the pro level by adding instant energy to the Comets.
Next he is JBs first pick ever as a GM , I believe he will fast track him to the Canucks for that reason alone.
Next this team has close to zero toughness or aggressiveness . - VANTEL
That's a really stupid reason to fast track a kid into the NHL. petty and dumb. Is that Benning?
Also, is JV the " it is what it is" guy? |

Ah, ....as for fast tracking JV because it was Bennings first pick....that doesn't happen except in the worst old organizations....at least not for the reason you mentioned. No GM would do that. |

Not because a GM wanted to showcase them as a proud parent....for other reasons ( lack of competition on the roster, had to sell the fans something), not necessarily better ones. |
