Benning said last night Clendening & Corrado are pretty well NHL ready and are "good puck moving defenceman, who can jump in the play" Are they "impact D"? Don't think so, they will both also require waivers next season. Adding another Defenseman will certainly give JB some things to think about.

i have never insulted forum members directly. i have definitely laughed at their posts, at their awful logic, etc. but that is allowed in forums, nothing wrong with disagreeing with opinions.

the mods do a good job most of the time and understand that. and i'm glad they got fed up with you guys insulting forum members, as that does nothing positive for these forums.

I have only been posting fopr less than a season but I have been reading for much longer than that. This I don't agree with.

Basically you will treated in accordance with how you act and how your 'banter' is. Some of how you bring things across could be construed as insulting although you may not see it that way.

We have all had strips torn off us for acting and posting like idiots. And most of the time we all deserve it.

Bottom line is that if you continue to post and act like a jackass you will be treated like one. Pretty cut and dry.

The final four teams were all fast and the each had/have good defense. You can't win without it, that's why I'd like the to start concentrating on the backend. Defensemen take longer to develop...the sooner they start the better.

I do agree with Nucker in that if a kid like Jensen Harkins is there at 23, you take him because his chances of becoming a pro are pretty high...BPA.

A high second round pick for a dman would be awesome!!


Edit: Nucker appears to be a Flames fan now though, from reading their blog, he's dead to me.

Man, watching Duncan Keith play in this series is something else, that's the kind of player you break the bank for. CHI has 4D playing all those big minutes, that's impressive.

I think 2 players will be the odd man out from last seasons line up.

Clendening needs to work on holding the puck in at the blue line but has a good shot and a decent first pass.

Corrado needs to work on finding his shooting lanes but has a decent shot and is excellent in his own zone along the boards.

Lots of new faces last year, there will be more this season. EDM, LA, SJ will be better next season. You just never know how things will play out. If we missed the playoffs and get into top 10 +/- it may just be a good thing methinks.
