Mmmmm Johnson and Drouin for ristolainen. Go find anyone that isn't a sabres fan that would take that trade, brah.
- ImNoTroll
I never suggested that it was a trade that would or could happen, just estimating RISTO's Value, it was meant to explain the difference in value based upon position rather than the actual players named.
My apologies, Tyler Johnson as a Centermen of his skill set would be at about 90% Of Riso's Value based on him being a Centermen. If he come up with a year as consistent as Risto's was on Defense, but do it as a Centermen I would consider them of Equal Value based upon Teams strengths and weakneses. - MEBSabresFAN[]
The discussion really lost its way after this post, it somehow got tossed to the wind, but it sums up my discussion on "Value" on the stated positions.
To put the Record straight: I never suggested Trading RISTO (it was a value estimation only) which was then lowered as I had seen Tyler play wing a bit, but he is a stud young C!
And in regards to 365.....I agree with you , Risto has a ways to go to match up with the like of HEDMAN and KEITH for sure! I think HEDMAN could be the best D-Man in the league next year.
This is my last time responding to you...
How do you make trades? By coming to terms on value. If you say, which you did, Ristos value is equal to Drouin and Tyler Johnson, that is saying the same thing as a trade.
Im sorry but the ignorance of stupidity drives me nuts. Its the one thing that really gets me going. - ImNoTroll
This is exactly what we don't need here on HBuzz blogs.....
Its just childish, and Goose I am pointing the finger at a fellow poster that considers my opinions "Ignorance of stupidity" which we all know is an "Oxymoron"

Ummmmmm No its not If I was suggesting a trade, I would have said,
That's fine. Go look at those forums I said, I said value not trade there, it was asked if you're drunk. - ImNoTroll
Dude is always overvaluing our players\prospects. Best not arguing with him. His blue and gold colored glasses clouds his judgement. Tampa is not trading druion for risto. Dude played fine in his rookie year, was the top prospect in the league coming into the year and is a highly touted scoring machine. Tampa is keeping him unless it's a haul.

I wish there was an ignore option in that case. It drives me nuts.

Ennis, 21, 31 -> Nash
Btw that guy on the leafs thread said Risto + Reinhart for Johnson - Herzeleid
Yup, and I still do that in a heartbeat. But some of you sabres fans are still waiting on ennis to develop. He is only 26 and counting. Nash puts in as many goals as ennis does points, but including a late first and an early 2nd is soOooooooOooOo much.
It's another example of sabres fans overvauling their own. Realistically that's probably doesn't land us nash, and you think it's too much.

It's almost like age, cap, and common sense doesn't exist to you.
And what's this "waiting on Ennis to develop" sh!t.

Yea because 31 is ancient, and the sabres only have 23 million in space.
Usually when you talk down to someone, you might want to make sure you're on higher ground. - ImNoTroll
You really wan't Nash's cap when we have to pay the kids? Oh wait you you only want him until then, so the trade is even worse because you're giving up 3 valuable assets for a stop gap. Again, you're either a troll or SuperCat.

Never wanted to RISTO for Druoin, We are deep down the middle and RISTO is a more developed and established defensemen. My very point was he is worth more on the market. Not trading him....I value RISTO as one of the Top Ten Young Defensemen in the league with a potential to be our Number #1 DMan and in 2-3 years a Top 20 in the league.

What is with your unhealthy infactuation with NASH, Good to Very Good player, Also 31 yrs old, vanishes in playoffs, and 8 MILLION Dollars with length........Your ELITE wisdom is fascinating

What is your value of him? - MEBSabresFAN
I'm not interested in trading risto. He is going to be our rock back there. I just think it's foolish that people assume druion has accomplished nothing because he didn't light the NHL up at 20. The guy is gonna be a stud. That year I would of loved the sabres to trade up and grabbed him or Monahan but I am content with risto. if druion has accomplished nothing yet and is now worth the 21st pick or some lowball offer what is compher, Bailey or Hurley worth since they are the same age and havnt even made the NHL yet??? 5th rd picks. I would love to trade for druion but he will come at a steep price

I really don't know where this "combative" nature comes from - MEBSabresFAN
There's several of them here. I don't get it either. We're all fans of the same team. And most, if not all of the aggression would never be dealt to another human being in person. Welcome to the internet, I guess.

I certainly haven't followed Druion nearly as well as you, he looks extremely TALENTED!
My entire point was trying to express that a Top Teir D-Man, who is Multi-Talented is worth more than most wingers of equal talent, obviously there are some Freak Exceptions, KANE, OVI, etc....
