I think it's possible he does more than end up a player like Kruger, but to me that's his low side. I think he very well could end up higher than that, but other than his late year push, he never overly impressed me. I guess I just need to see him do that more consistently. We've had so many players come up at the end of the year, tear it up, and then completely fizzle the next year. I guess it's tainted my expectations.

Saw some pretty intriguing trade proposals on Twitter today. No clue how legitimate they are or if they even make sense, but I'll share them anyway.

Arizona - Hodgson, Grigorenko, Zadorov, 21st pick
Buffalo - 3rd overall to draft Hanifin

St. Louis - 21st pick, 2 unnamed prospects
Buffalo - Backes and Oshie

Both sound unrealistic, but have fun with them!

Arizona is in desperate need of top-end centers, not our spare parts. Also, they would never take Hodgson.

I think a more realistic deal will be:

Kurtis MacDermid (D) 21
Dustin Brown RW (30)

To LA:

Plus, eichel would be a guaranteed sabre killer for his entire career. As long as he was on the west coast, i wouldnt care unless we ended up playing edmonton in the finals.

I can't stop shaking my head at some of you who want to give up significant assets for Nash. We're so close to having ourselves set up for the next decade - why would we want to sacrifice the long term for a short-term upgrade?

I am concerned that Kane might be injury prone.

By the time Nash was 23 years old he had seasons of 31,38, and 41 goals.
