Beauchemin has slowed down terribly. Some second pairing time, more likely third. Stay away from fat contract.

Beauch I think has played his last game as a Duck - Warrior no doubt - but was out of position and slow during the hawk series and I think is holding Lindholm back a little bit - If either Shea T or Josh M can show in camp that they are good to go with the big club - then you have Wiz and either of those 2 to take the place of Beauch -

There was chatter that Buffalo was targeting Beauchemin in a package return for Myers (before the E.Kane trade obviously)... I wouldn't be surprised if he's still on our radar.


The Sabres would welcome another seasoned vet in the mix (along side of Josh Georges), to help groom their young stable of rookie blue liners; Ristolinen, Zadorov, Pysyk).
