The idea is to get rid of contract not add. Genius - LUCKY67
On hi Quickscf
No genius. It's to get rid of a massive contract that sits in the press box for a less bad contract for a player you need

Williams isn't returning. Plus I'd rather see Weal in the lineup
Williams gone will definitely hurt - LUCKY67
Perhaps Buffalo would take Dustin Brown's hefty contract off your hands if Martin Jones were included in the deal?
Sabres have a lot of picks, & a lot of cap room.
You could then maybe reconsider J. Williams, a guy like that deserves to be in the playoffs anyway. |

Yeah Brown trade would be interesting. Better return than Richards that's for sure but highly doubt he's gone. I believe him and a few guys are working out extremely hard this summer.
Brown admitted he was tired this past season and planned on working hard.

Why are the Devils rumored to be in on all these washed up players we're getting younger, we don't want that trash. |

Right? Habs will try to unload 2 defensemen before the year starts and wont add any unless theyre better than anyone in the top 3 and Beauchemin doesn't qualify |

Eks hits would be reduced by 99% if that happened. No more Leafs thread period. |

Philly should be after Kessel, IMO.
Voracek/Giroux/Kessel could be the best scoring line in hockey.
Field a squad of knucklehead thugs behind those guys, & Philly fans will be in their glory. |

Brown is only movable if an equally terrible contact comes back. |

He was slow and out of position too much - see Toews 1st in game 7 + Ducks have Wiz and the 2 kids ready to go - so he would be a solid pickup for a team needing some hard edge and guidance on the back end - He was a excellent Duck for both tours - |
