Trade Zadorov. As Don Cherry pointed our years ago, Colorado should have just given ROR the C and that's that. Instead, the Avs are banking on the Landeskog, (whom I think is overrated, borderline bust) and Ducene. ROR is old time hockey in a nice package who has Captain written all over him.
Do you forsee Zadorov as the Captain of the Sabres for the next 7-10 years?

Jack Eichel doesn't have anything left to prove in the NCAA nor at BU. The kid is a stone cold killah! He proved at the IIHF Worlds in Prague that he can more than adequately hang with NHLers like Geno Mlkin, Alex Ovechkin and Ilya Kovalchuk.
Newsflash Garth. Kovalchuk isn't in the NHL |

I used to want Ryan O'Reilly to be traded to Buffalo... but now I can honestly say that I hope he gets dealt to another team. The price that Garth is willing to pay is absolutely ridiculous and makes me thankful we have Murray at the helm, even though he will likely overpay in some aggressive trade, as well. I, for one, would really like to see a trade for Rick Nash or Jeff Skinner. If you have Kane / Eichel / Ennis on the first line and give Reinhart a true sniper on the second line (along with Moulson or whomever), then you have two very dangerous lines at the top. Reinhart passing to Nash would be quite entertaining to say the least (and take a ton of pressure off Reinhart). Having Girgensons and Gionta on the third line with Foligno would round off the top 9 quite nicely. A sniper for the 2nd line is critical to the Sabres competing for a playoff spot this season. That being said, I'm not against the idea of missing the playoffs one more season (but not finishing dead last) and taking a shot in the lottery for a Top 3 pick next year. - djc1877
Well thought......I just think competing for a playoff spot will be mucho difficult next year. How much would we have to improve by? 35-40 points? Whew..... not sure that is possible.

Evan Rodrigues was the 4th leading scorer in the NCAA.
Matt Lane has 23 points in 73 games. He is not worthy of taking minutes from any of the drafted prospects that will be in Rochester next year. |

All of you that criticized me are fools. I watch plenty of hockey and Gabriel Landeskog to me is overrated. He's been in the league to long to be at his level. I don't think my opinion is that our of whack. You meowsters on this board are ridiculous. And to the clown that compared Zadorov, a suspect, snotty kid to Seabrook, Keith et al - you sir need to refocus. Terrible comparison on your part. You guys think Zadorov in Russian is Borque. |

So 60-65 points when he was taken what top 3? Beast to play against? I guess. There are 60 players in the NHL with those stats. |

His offence was only said to be lacking, he wasnt drafted to be a goal scorer, it was his smart 2 way play, physical, and a natural leader who would do anything for his team to win.

Read up on the guy before you start throwing ridiculous comments around. And how many ppg players are in the league today, 100 points is getting rarer and rarer, 60 points is nothing to sneeze at when you bring more to the team that just offense |

What's this now???
I watch plenty of the stock market but that doesn't make me a good trader.
I also watch plenty of jeopardy but that doesn't make me smart either. |
